Erectile Dysfunction Brought about by Love Towards Wife: A Case Report

The brain of human being is often regarded as the most important sex organ. Not only does it constructs meanings for our sexuality but also regulates our sex hormonal secretion. When the status of hormonal secretion is imbalance, we may encounter sexual dysfunction which renders difficulty in reproduction. Medication may be helpful for some sexual dysfunction. However, when sexual dysfunction is caused by negative construction of the meaning of sexuality, treatment by medication may become ineffective and non-medical intervention can be more appropriate. This paper illustrates a case of erectile dysfunction which is caused by distorted attitudes towards sexuality. Nonmedical intervention is introduced and its effectiveness within two sessions was demonstrated.

He was diagnosed with tip 1 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) at the age of seven and intensive insulin therapy was instituted subsequently. Despite the stable blood glucose levels, the daily liquid intake of the patient was 10 liters, and the urine output was 9.5 liters. The patient also had complaints of loss of libido, impotence, erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction in the last 6 months. Global Journal of Reproductive Medicine   Juniper Publishers Abstract The cryopreservation procedure changes the integrity and functionality of sperm, affecting their longevity and the ability to fertilize the oocyte. Moreover, some of those changes could be alter the physiologic interactions between the sperm and the oviductal epithelial cells prior to fertilization, placing further limitations and challenges on frozen-thawed stallion sperm. For fertilization to occur, a sperm subpopulation should be survive in uterine environment and be transported to oviduct, the tubular epithelium that regulate the sperm capacitation process in tuning with the ovulation and later oocyte fecundation.
